You may claim your documents at our head office or at our CBG Centers. However, please make sure to contact us at (632) 888-55-888 or email us at cbgopautopru@chinabank.ph prior to pick up to confirm that documents are available for release and to schedule an appointment. 

Please take note that the standard release time for collateral documents is 15 banking days from the date of full payment. 

Only the borrower and the authorized representative (if client is not able) can claim the collateral documents. 

For claiming of your collateral documents, please ensure to bring the following requirements:

Documents required from Registered Owner/s:
1. Valid identification card (ID) of the registered owner/s with photocopy

Documents required from Registered Owner/s and Authorized Representative:
1. Original authorization letter signed by the registered owner/s (Husband & Wife, if spouses). Consularized Special Power of Attorney (SPA) if registered owner/s is out-ofthe country.
2. For corporations: (a) original authorization letter executed by the authorized signatory of the corporation based on its latest Secretary’s Certificate with specimen signature; and (b) original / certified true copy of the Secretary’s Certificate.
3. Valid identification card (ID) of the registered owner/s with photocopy
4. Valid identification card (ID) of the authorized representative with photocopy

Important:
Any alterations on the SPA without proper countersignatures by the issuer and the consul will invalidate the document. Date of Validity that the issuer indicated in the SPA will be strictly followed. Claiming of the documents after that date will not be accommodated. Kindly send an advance copy 

If mortgagor/s are deceased, please provide the following requirements:

1. Original Notarized copy of the Extra-Judicial Settlement 
2. Original PSA copy of the Death Certificate 
3. Photocopy of Marriage Certificate 
4. Original and photocopy of atleast one (1) valid government ID of all legal heirs with three (3) specimen signatures 

In the event that all legal heirs and remaining registered owner/s will not be present, they must execute and submit an: 

1. Original Notarized Special Power of Attorney (SPA) or Original Consularized or Apostilled SPA 
2. Photocopies of atleast two (2) valid government IDs with three (3) specimen signature of the legal heir/s and remaining registered owner/s 
3. Original and photocopy of atleast one (1) valid government ID of the Attorney-in-Fact

  • Client must bring two (2) original notarized Cancellation of Mortgage and Annotated Promissory Note w/ Chattel Mortgage to the Registry of Deeds specified in the Cancellation of Mortgage. The Registry of Deeds will use these to cancel the mortgage registration in their records.
  • Present the original LTO Certificate of Registration and Official Receipt, along with the Cancellation of Mortgage duly acknowledged by the Registry of Deeds, to the LTO District Office as indicated on the Certificate of Registration. LTO will issue a new Certificate of Registration free of the encumbrance. Please keep in mind that the Registry of Deeds and the LTO will charge cancellation fees.
