The following terms and conditions (the "Mobile Terms") govern Your use of the Chinabank Mobile Banking Application (the "Chinabank Mobile Banking App") and apply to You and to any other person who accesses or uses the Chinabank Mobile Banking App after it is downloaded to Your mobile device. By downloading or using the Chinabank Mobile Banking App, You agree that these Mobile Terms supplement Your existing account with China Banking Corporation ("Chinabank").
As used in these Mobile Terms, the words "You," "Your," "Yours" mean You, individually, and each other party on whose behalf You may use the Chinabank Mobile Banking App at any time; and the words "We," "Our," and "Us" refer to Chinabank. Unless otherwise stated in these Mobile Terms, capitalized terms used in these Mobile Terms have the meanings stated in the General Terms and Conditions that applies to Your use of Chinabank Online and the Chinabank Mobile Banking App.
- Mobile Communications.
By agreeing to these Mobile Terms, You are agreeing to view electronically through the Chinabank Mobile Banking App all of the documents and disclosures that are displayed through the Chinabank Mobile Banking App (including, but not limited to, account statements, Account Agreement, the General Terms and Conditions and amendments thereto, Supplemental Agreements and amendments thereto, and other documents that We specify from time to time) (collectively "Mobile Communications"). You agree that these terms apply to each Chinabank account (the "Account") that You link to Chinabank Mobile Banking Application from time to time. All Mobile Communications from Us to You will be considered "in writing," and You agree that any time You tap a button in the Chinabank Mobile Banking App labeled "I Agree" or "Agree" You intend to electronically indicate Your agreement and to electronically sign any relevant electronic document.
You may consent to be notified via Push Notification in the Chinabank Mobile Banking App (as provided in Section 5 of these Mobile Terms) that a Mobile Communication is available through the Chinabank Mobile Banking App. Contact Us immediately if You have any difficulty accessing Your Mobile Communications or if You have any questions about Your electronic delivery instructions.
To access Mobile Communications, You must have a mobile device that can connect to the internet, an internet connection, the current version of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App, and the current compatible mobile operating system for the device on which You use the Chinabank Mobile Banking App. We do not endorse, and have no responsibility for, any mobile device or telecommunications provider. Access fees by internet service providers may apply to Your receipt of Mobile Communications through the Chinabank Mobile Banking App.
The bank may provide a printed copy of the documents stated herein by sending a written request delivered/submitted through the Chinabank Mobile Banking App. All charge/s and fee/s for the printing shall be for your account. - 2. The Following General Requirements Apply to Your Use of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App.
2.1. You Must Use a Compatible Device. Subject to the applicable License Agreement, You may download the Chinabank Mobile Banking App to any compatible mobile device using the compatible operating system.
2.2. You May Incur Communications Fees When You Use the Chinabank Mobile Banking App. We do not charge a fee for using or accessing the Chinabank Mobile Banking App. However, Your wireless service provider (including without limitation, any roaming wireless service provider and any wifi hot spots) may levy fees or charges for transmission or receipt of messages and other communications or data usage performed using Your mobile device on the wireless service provider network, and You are solely responsible for such fees or charges. Standard fees and charges will continue to apply to services and features that are accessible through the Chinabank Mobile Banking App.
2.3. Your Use of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App is Subject to the Special Risks of Information and Communications Technology and MobileTechnology. You acknowledge that there are security, reliability, data corruption, transmission error, accessibility, availability and related risks associated with use of the mobile technology to access Your Account and the Services and to receive and transmit confidential information. Delivery through the internet is not private or secure, and the Mobile Communications sent to You through the Chinabank Mobile Banking App are not encrypted. You assume all such risks and agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, We are not responsible for any unauthorized access, systems outages, delays, disruptions in telecommunications services and the internet, errors, data loss, data corruption, inability to use the Chinabank Mobile Banking App or other problems that may arise in connection with Your use of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App. We make no representation or warranty that You will be able to access Your Account or the services through the Chinabank Mobile Banking App when You want.
2.4. We Can Add and Delete Features and Restrict or Terminate Use of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App at Our Discretion. We may, from time to time, introduce new features to the Chinabank Mobile Banking App or modify or delete existing features at Our sole discretion. We will notify You of any of these changes to features if We are legally required to do so. By using any new or modified features when they become available, You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions concerning these features. We and any licensors We use to provide the Chinabank Mobile Banking App or the related services, reserve the right to change, supplement, suspend, limit, remove, disable or permanently discontinue Your access to or use of, the Chinabank Mobile Banking App and any services at any time without notice or liability to You, including without limitation for security or operational reasons. If We suspend / discontinue Your use of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App, We also suspend any other use by You of any and / or all electronic banking channels without need of informing You.
2.5. Your Use of any Mobile Banking to Access Your Account and the Services Available through the Facility is Subject to this General Terms and Conditions and the Mobile Terms as stated in Chinabank Official Website and Chinabank Mobile Banking App. In the event of a conflict between the General Terms and Conditions and the Mobile Terms, the Mobile Terms shall prevail.
Please also note that if Your Account Agreement and/or General Terms and Conditions contain an arbitration provision, disputes in connection with Your use of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App are subject to arbitration as provided in Your Account Agreement and/or General Terms and Conditions. - Our Collection, Use and Disclosure of Information Gathered in Connection with Your Use of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App is Subject to Our Mobile Privacy Policy.
3.1. Overview
Our Mobile Privacy Notice describes how we may collect, use and share information You provide when You access or use the Chinabank Mobile Banking App.
Our Mobile Privacy Notice does not cover:
(a) Information collected and used on Chinabank website chinabank.ph or Chinabank Online.
(b) Information You provide to the website on which We advertise and to which We may link.
(c) Information You provide to any third-party app provider, operating system provider, device manufacturer or wireless service provider.
These sites, service providers and other third parties may have their own privacy policies, and We encourage You to read the privacy policies provided by these third parties.
PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR MOBILE PRIVACY NOTICE IS NOT INTENDED TO REPLACE, MODIFY OR EXPAND ANY OTHER PRIVACY NOTICE THAT GOVERNS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH US (collectively Our "Privacy Notices"). Please see Our Privacy Notices for a comprehensive explanation of how We collect, use and share personal information and what You can do to limit the use and sharing of Your information. - You can Choose to Use Certain Location-based Services Available Through the Chinabank Mobile Banking App.
The Chinabank Mobile Banking App allows You to enable location services. By doing so, You consent to the use by the Chinabank Mobile Banking App of location and mapping data reported by Your mobile device to provide You with location-based services, including, but not limited to, finding nearby ATMs or Chinabank branches. Neither We, nor any of subsidiaries, affiliates, content providers or Service Providers, guarantee the availability, accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of location data used and or other information provided / displayed by the Chinabank Mobile Banking App or any service provider. Please see Our Mobile Privacy Policy for information about how we use and disclose location data. - You can Agree to Accept Certain Push Notifications.
When You are logged into the Chinabank Mobile Banking App, You may receive a message asking if You would like to allow push notifications. Push notifications are ways for an application to deliver information, including alerts, sounds and icon badges to Your mobile device. Push notifications can be delivered whether or not You are currently logged-in to and/or using the application and whether or not Your device is in locked and/or in sleep mode.
If You do not wish for others to view Your notifications, You should establish a passcode lock for Your device, lock it when not in use and guard Your device’s screen when it is unlocked. If You do not wish to receive push notifications from Us, click "Don’t Allow" or other similar button when prompted. If You allow push notifications from Us but later decide You no longer want to receive them, You can turn them off through Your device notifications settings. - You Authorize Us to Communicate with You at Your Mobile Number.
You consent to receiving autodialed and prerecorded calls and text messages from Us, or those acting on Our behalf, at any mobile telephone number associated with the device that You use for the Chinabank Mobile Banking App. - We may Amend these Mobile Terms.
We may amend these Mobile Terms from time-to-time by notice to You, including, but not limited to, through email or text message, in writing which are mailed to You, posting to Our website or through the Chinabank Mobile Banking App. Your continued use of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App following such notice shall constitute Your agreement to the amended Mobile Terms. - Governing Law; Injunctive Relief.
To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, (a) these Mobile Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the Philippines applicable to contracts signed and performed within the country; and (b) the exclusive jurisdiction for any action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Mobile Terms shall be at a Regional/Metropolitan Trial Court located in the City of Makati, Philippines. You acknowledge that any breach or threatened breach by You of any provision of these Mobile Terms may cause Us irreparable injury and damage and, therefore, that any such breach or threatened breach may be enjoined through injunctive proceedings in addition to any other rights and remedies that may be available to Us at law or in equity. - Assignment; Waiver.
You may not assign, sublicense, delegate, subcontract or otherwise transfer Your rights, duties and obligations under these Mobile Terms to a third party without Our express written consent. Any instrument whereby You purport to make an assignment or other transfer in violation of this provision shall be null and void. Any forbearance or delay on the part of either party hereto in enforcing any provision of these Mobile Terms or any of its rights hereunder shall not be construed as a waiver of such provision or of a right to enforce same for such occurrence or any future occurrence. - Termination.
We may terminate or suspend Your access to the Chinabank Mobile Banking App at any time, with or without prior notice. Deleting, uninstalling or removing the Chinabank Mobile Banking App from your device does not terminate or suspend your access to the Chinabank Mobile Banking App. You may terminate Your use of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App at any time by visiting any CBC branch where You maintain Your account. Notwithstanding termination, these Mobile Terms shall continue to apply with respect to any act or omission prior to the actual date of termination. - Things you must not do.
11.1 You must not copy or reproduce all or any part of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App.
11.2 You must not alter, modify or adopt all or any part of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App.
11.3 You must not remove or tamper with any copyright notice attached to or contained within the Chinabank Mobile Banking App. All ownership in the Chinabank Mobile Banking App remains with us.
11.4 You must not carry out reverse engineering of the Chinabank Mobile Banking App. - Severability
If any part, term or provision of this Mobile Terms shall become invalid or unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions or portion shall not be affected, and the rights and obligations of the parties shall be construed as if, this Mobile Terms did not contain the particular invalid or unenforceable part, term of provision.
JUMP (Pay to Mobile)
Terms and Conditions (as Sender)
1. Pay to Mobile is a way of making a Pay Anyone Payment. Pay to Mobile is a service that allows China Bank customers to make Payments to third parties (Pay to Mobile Payees) by giving us that party’s eligible mobile phone number. Mobile Payments may be made to an eligible mobile phone number rather than to a China Bank Account or an account at another Philippine financial institution.
Making Payments using JUMP (Pay to Mobile)
2. You agree to advise the JUMP Payee that you have provided us with their eligible mobile phone number for the purpose of the JUMP.
(a) Following an instruction from you that you wish to make a JUMP Payment, we will allocate a Transaction Reference Number to you and you must nominate a Passcode. You must notify the JUMP Payee that a JUMP Payment is available for them to claim by using the Transaction Reference Number and Passcode (which must be used in conjunction with their eligible mobile phone number the Payment was made to). You are solely responsible for notifying the JUMP Payee of this information and we are not liable for any failure or delay in the JUMP Payee receiving this information.
(b) You must provide the Passcode to the JUMP Payee only. You must not allow any other person to see, or overhear you providing the Passcode. You must not record the Passcode anywhere that is liable to loss, theft or abuse. If the Passcode is known to any other person, that person may be able to claim the JUMP Payment and we are not liable for any loss or damage you or any person suffer.
(c) The JUMP Payee must claim the JUMP Payment through the following:
a. For JUMP>Deposit to Account (Fund Transfer)
- Download and install the CBC Mobile App
- Once successfully installed, access the Pre-Login Menu
- Go to Information and Services and select Receive from Mobile> Deposit to Account
- Enter the Reference Number (received through SMS), the Passcode (as provided to you by the Payer/Sender)
- Enter the Bank and Account Number where the payment will be transferred to
- Enter the OTP (received through SMS via your mobile phone number)
b. For JUMP>Withdraw via ATM
- Go to any CBC ATM
- Press ENTER to initiate cardless withdrawal
- Enter the Reference Number (received through SMS), the Passcode (as provided to you by the Payer/Sender)
- Enter the OTP (received through SMS via your mobile phone number)
(d) The JUMP Payee must successfully claim the JUMP Payment within 24 hours (expiration is subject to change) from the time the JUMP Payment is made. If the JUMP Payee does not successfully claim the Payment within this time, the transaction will expire, the funds will be returned to the Account the funds were debited from (Note: Fees will not be reversed), and the JUMP Payee will not be able to claim Payment.
3. JUMP Payments will be debited from your Account at the time you instruct the JUMP Payment. For Deposit to An Account, when the JUMP Payee’s account will be credited will depend on the policy and systems of their financial institution. We do not pay interest on any amount credited to your Account if the JUMP Payee does not claim the Payment or the funds are credited back to your Account for any reason.
4. If the JUMP Payee wishes to dispute the amount or payment of the JUMP Payment, they must contact you directly.
JUMP (Pay To Mobile)
Terms and Conditions (Receiver)
JUMP is a service we offer that allows customers to make payment to third parties through their mobile phone number.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our JUMP service to claim a payment.
Claiming a Payment
You will be notified by the Payer that a payment is available for you to claim. The Payer may notify you via SMS or email, by phone, or by other means as the Payer sees fit. Receiving a notification from the Payer in itself does not mean you will receive the payment.
To claim a payment, you must perform the following:
a. For JUMP>Deposit to Account (Fund Transfer)
- Download and install the CBC Mobile App
- Once successfully installed, access the Pre-Login Menu
- Go to Information and Services and select Receive from Mobile> Deposit to Account
- Enter the Reference Number (received through SMS), the Passcode (as provided to you by the Payer/Sender)
- Enter the Bank and Account Number where the payment will be transferred to
- Enter the OTP (received through SMS via your mobile phone number)
b. For JUMP>Withdraw via ATM
- Go to any CBC ATM
- Press ENTER to initiate cardless withdrawal
- Enter the Reference Number (received through SMS), the Passcode (as provided to you by the Payer/Sender)
- Enter the OTP (received through SMS via your mobile phone number)
If you do not enter the information correctly, your claim of the payment may be unsuccessful.
All details entered by you must be correct. In processing Deposit to Account (Fund Transfer) transactions, we do not check that the account number entered matches the receiving bank account name. Please take care to correctly enter your account number as you may not be able to recover it if it is credited to an incorrect account.
If Deposit to Account (Fund Transfer) transaction is successful, the amount should credited to your account real-time. Processing of the receipt by your financial institution may be different. If you are not a Chinabank customer, once you have claimed your payment, any relationship between Chinabank and you ceases. If your claim of the payment is unsuccessful (see more below under "When payments cannot be claimed"), the funds are returned to the Sender/Payer.
If your claim of the payment is unsuccessful or if you wish to dispute the amount of the payment, you must contact the Sender/Payer.
When payments cannot be claimed
JUMP Transaction Expiry: A JUMP transaction is currently set to expire within 24 hours (subject to change). You must successfully claim the payment within 24 hours from the time the payment is set-up (which is indicated in the SMS notification sent) is created by the Payer. If you do not successfully claim the payment within this time, the transaction will expire and you will need to contact the Payer to initiate a new transaction.
Payment details entered incorrectly: If you enter any payment details incorrectly, you may not be able to proceed with your claim and you may need to contact the Payer to initiate a new payment.
Payments cancelled or blocked by the Payer or by Chinabank: The Payer may, or we may, cancel or block a Payment at any time for any reason. We will not notify you or provide you with the reason and you should contact the Payer if you are advised that your payment claim cannot be processed.
If payment is not available for you to claim for any reason, you should contact the Payer.
Important note
You must not:
a. disclose the Passcode to anyone;
b. record the Passcode anywhere that may lead to loss, theft or abuse.
We are not responsible for any loss you or anyone suffers due to:
a. any failure or delay by the Payer in providing you or us with the correct information to enable you to make a payment claim;
b. anyone becoming aware of the Passcode;
c. you entering incorrect information on our JUMP Page; or
d. the Payer or Chinabank cancelling or blocking the Payment prior to your successful claim of it.
Privacy statement
We collect personal information from you to process your claim for a payment. If you do not provide all the information we request, we may not be able to process your claim.
We may exchange, use or disclose your personal information to other members of the Chinabank Group, anyone we engage to do something on our behalf and other organisations that assist us with our business, or as required by law.
Sometimes it may be necessary to send your information overseas (for example, if we outsource functions overseas).

Changes relating to the JUMP Page
We may suspend or terminate your use of, or reduce the level of service to, the JUMP Page at any time. We are not responsible for damages or losses suffered by you or anyone as a result of this, whether actual, alleged, consequential or otherwise.
We may change these Terms and Conditions or the JUMP Page from time to time and without prior notice.
Meaning of words
"Passcode" is the authentication code the Payer provides to you that must be entered when you claim a payment.
"Payment" is the funds the Payer instructed us to make available for you to claim.
"Payer" is the person who instructed us to make a payment available for you to claim.
"You" or "Your" means the person entitled to claim a payment via the Chinabank Mobile App JUMP Payment Page.
"Chinabank", "we", "us" or "our" means China Banking Corporation
"Chinabank Group" means Chinabank and its subsidiaries
