PROMO MECHANICS

I. Qualifications

The promo is open to all Chinabank Credit Card Cardholders (“Cardholders”) whose accounts are active, current, and in good credit standing*.

II. Promo Details:

  1. The Promo Period is from June 15 to December 31, 2024.
  2. Cardholders entitled to the following offers when they shop at MetroMart using their Chinabank Credit Card:
    • New Users: ₱200 OFF at MetroMart
      • Availment/Spend Conditions: Minimum spend of P2,000.
      • Promo Code: CBCNEW (1x use per user)

    • Existing Users: P400 OFF at MetroMart
      • Availment/Spend Conditions: Minimum spend of P5,000.
      • Promo Code: CBC400 (1x use per user per month)

III. How to Avail

  1. Go to the MetroMart mobile app or website: www.metromart.com
  2. Create an account or log in to your existing account.
  3. Set your Current City and Delivery Address.
  4. Click on your favorite store and start shopping.
  5. Select the desired items to purchase, click to “Add to Cart”.
  6. Once done, view your cart and review your orders.
  7. Click “Checkout” and input your delivery details.
  8. Click on “Payment Method”, select “Credit/Debit Card”, and enter your Chinabank Credit Card details.
  9. Click “Add Promo Code” at the bottom of the page, enter the Promo Code, and click “Redeem”
  10. Once the order is successfully placed, you will receive an automated response e-mail.

IV. Terms and Conditions

  1. To qualify for the promo, the Cardholder must use his/her Chinabank Credit Card for payment at MetroMart.
  2. The Cardholder must meet the specified spend requirement to avail of the discount/s. 
  3. The promo is valid on all MetroMart supermarket and specialty stores.
  4. Serviceable areas are: 
    • Metro Manila: Makati, Taguig, Pasay, Caloocan, Manila, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Paranaque, Pasay, Pasig, Pateros, Quezon City, San Juan, Valenzuela, Las Pinas, Malabon, and Mandaluyong.
    • Luzon: Baguio City; Batangas; Bicol; Rizal: Montalban, Antipolo; Cainta; Bulacan, Pampanga; Cavite: Dasmarinas, General Trias; Laguna: San Pedro, Sta. Rosa, Binan, Cabuyao; Cabanatuan; Bataan; Palawan; Ilocos Norte; and Pangasinan.
    • Visayas and Mindanao: Cebu City, Mandaue, Talisay, Lapu-Lapu, Iloilo, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro.

  5. The offers are non-cumulative and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, promotions, and offers unless specified.
  6. The offers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, gift certificates, or other products.
  7. The general Terms and Conditions of MetroMart shall apply. 
  8. The Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Chinabank Credit Cards are incorporated herein by reference and made integral hereof.
  9. Chinabank reserves the right to charge the amount of the Promo Offer to the account of the Cardholder should: 

    a. The transaction that qualified the Cardholder to the discount be subsequently filed under dispute by the Cardholder, reversed, or found to be fraudulent or invalid. 
    b. The Cardholder violate any of the terms and conditions of the promo and/or terms and conditions governing the use of his/her Chinabank Credit Card.
     
  10. Any complaint or dispute concerning the performance and/or delivery of product/services related to the Promo Offer shall be settled directly between the Cardholder and MetroMart. Chinabank shall not be liable or responsible for any claim or loss suffered or incurred by the Cardholder due or attributed to MetroMart.
  11. In case of disputes related to the Promo, the decision of Chinabank with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final. MetroMart shall not be liable or responsible for any claim or loss suffered or incurred by the Cardholder due or attributed to Chinabank.
  12. By joining this Promo, the user confirms that he/she has read, understood, and agreed to the Promo Mechanics and its terms & conditions.

*Cardholders in good credit standing are those whose accounts are active and current and not blocked, delinquent or past due, not under any collections repayment program or special installment, not under investigation due to suspected fraudulent activities, or those whose Credit Cards are not reported lost or stolen, and those who have not otherwise, violated any of the Terms and Conditions governing Chinabank Credit Cards.
