TIME names Chinabank among the world’s best for the second year

TIME, one of the world's largest and most influential weekly news magazines, again recognized Chinabank as among the best firms across the globe.

For its continued strength and excellence, the bank made it in the World’s Best Companies 2025, the definitive list of organizations that stand out across industries worldwide. TIME, in partnership with global data and business intelligence platform Statista, rigorously evaluated companies across three key dimensions: employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and sustainability.

"It's an honor to again be part of the recently published The Time list of the 'World's Best Companies' for a second consecutive year. Chinabank is only one of 10 Filipino companies included in this year’s prestigious global ranking honoring the most outstanding organizations across industries worldwide. We are very proud to be a Filipino company acknowledged on the global stage. This recognition inspires us to remain steadfast and focused on constantly creating value for all our stakeholders," Chinabank President & Chief Executive Officer Romeo Uyan Jr. said.

Chinabank and SM Investments Corp. (SMIC), the parent firm of the SM Group, are among the 10 Philippine companies that made it in this year’s list, from 13 in 2024. The bank ranked 882, while SMIC ranked 407.

Chinabank's inclusion in the 2024 and 2025 editions affirms its place among the preeminent businesses in the world.  The bank is also in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 for the second year in a row, a ranking of the region's top firms in terms of total revenues.
