My CBC enhances digital banking services with new features, stronger security

Chinabank has introduced digital banking enhancements on My CBC, expanding its self-service offerings for checking account holders alongside new security and digital wallet features.

The latest update introduces three new services—Checkbook Reorder, Check Status, and Stop Payment Order—available across the My CBC App and My CBC Online. These services enable checking account holders to request new checkbooks, monitor the status of deposited checks in real time, and submit stop payment requests for issued checks, reducing the need to visit a branch for routine requests and inquiries.

Complementing these new My CBC features are enhanced security measures. These include Access Lock to instantly lock and unlock account access, Money Lock to secure selected funds or entire balances from outgoing transactions, and Customizable Transaction Limits to set fund transfer thresholds for greater control. Additionally, the Transaction Pause Period acts as a 24-hour safeguard, automatically activated following a device reset to help prevent unauthorized transactions. My CBC also now offers seamless Google Pay integration, enabling clients to securely add eligible CBC cards to Google Wallet directly through the platform for faster, hassle-free contactless payments.

These enhancements build on My CBC's comprehensive suite of digital banking services, including fund transfers, bill payments, mobile check deposit, eStatements, account management, and card services, allowing clients to complete more of their everyday banking needs through the bank's digital channels.

Chinabank Online will be retired and no longer in service after July 31, 2026, with My CBC taking over as the bank's primary digital banking platform.
