TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The CBC Member-Get-Member Program (“Program” or “MGM”) is a referral initiative designed to reward eligible existing CBC Credit Card Principal Credit Cardholders (“Eligible Cardholders”)
for referring new clients (as “Referrer/s”). Qualified Referrers who receive an official invitation via Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) or Short Message Service (SMS) can earn cash credits for each
successful referral of a new-to-bank applicant who is approved for a CBC credit card.
2. The Program is exclusively open to Eligible Cardholders who are active, in good credit standing*, and not restricted by any applicable anti-bribery or anti-corruption laws, regulations, or policies
from participating in the Program. Only those who receive an official Referral invitation via EDM or SMS are deemed qualified to be a “Referrer.” Supplementary Cardholders are excluded
from the Program.
3. The Program will accept applications from June 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026. Only completely filled up CBC Credit Card Application Forms (MGM) with a Referral Code will be accepted.
4. Referrers will receive a cash credit reward (“Reward”) that will be directly credited to the Referrer’s CBC Credit Card for each successful referral of a new-to-bank credit card applicant (“Referral”)
made during the Program period. New-to-bank Referral means an individual CBC Credit Card applicant (i) who does not hold any existing CBC Principal Credit Card at the time of application,
(ii) who does not have any cancelled CBC Credit Card within the last 3 months before the Program launch date, and (iii) whose new CBC Credit Card application (MGM) is subsequently approved.
5. Reward will be based on the type of credit card that the Referral is approved for, as follows:

6. All Eligible Cardholders will receive a unique 10-character alphanumeric code (“Referral Code”) which will be sent via EDM or SMS. Referral Codes received should be indicated on the
Referral’s CBC Credit Card Application Form (MGM).
• CBC will only send the Referral Code once to the Eligible Cardholder’s registered email address. CBC shall not be obliged to re-send the Referral Code if it is not received due to the
Eligible Cardholder’s failure to update their registered email address. To update e-mail address or contact details, or to ask for their Referral Codes, Eligible Cardholders may contact CBC’s Customer
Service 24/7 Hotline at +632 888-55-888 or e-mail creditcards@cbc.ph.
• Eligible Cardholders with more than one CBC Credit Card will have a Referral Code assigned per card type. The Reward will be credited to the Credit Card that was indicated on the
Referral’s CBC Credit Card Application Form (MGM).
• The Referrer’s full name and Referral Code must be indicated on the Referral’s CBC Credit Card Application Form (MGM).
• CBC is not required to verify if the Referral Code indicated on the application is correct, and will not be held responsible if the Referrer or Referral enters a wrong code.
The Referral acknowledges and agrees that the Referrer may submit the CBC Credit Card Application Form (MGM) on the Referral’s behalf. Completely filled up and signed CBC Credit Card Application
Form (MGM) (together with copies of the Referral’s other documents as required by CBC) must be sent by the Referrer or the Referral via email to the following email address: mgm@chinabank.ph
CBC Credit Card Application Forms (MGM) submitted via other email addresses or channels will not be honored or accepted.
8. CBC will acknowledge receipt of the CBC Credit Card Application Form (MGM) within 3 to 5 banking days from submission date. Processing of the application will take 10 to 17 banking days
from acknowledgement of receipt.
9. Referrer Qualifications. In addition to the qualifications provided above, Referrers must also fulfill the following requirements:
• Must not be an employee, Officer, Director or Stockholder of, or Person with Related Interest to, CBC;
• Must not be relatives of the above listed persons (up to the first degree of consanguinity or affinity); and
• Must not have any past due account with CBC.
10. Referral Qualifications. In addition to the qualifications provided above, as well as qualifications required by CBC under applicable laws, regulations, policies, and CBC terms and conditions,
Referrals must also fulfill the following requirements:
• Must be 21 to 65 years old;
• Must be an existing principal cardholder of another bank for at least 12 months with at least Php25,000 credit limit;
• Must not be an existing CBC Principal credit card holder;
• Has a valid source of income (employment, business, investments, etc.,), or must be a regular employee or a self-employed individual with legal business operations in the Philippines;
• A Filipino resident or a foreign national residing in the Philippines for at least 2 years; and
• Has a minimum gross annual income of at least Php 250,000.00.
11. By participating in the Program, both the Referrer and the Referral authorize CBC to transfer and disclose their personal information to its accredited third-party partners, solely for the purpose
of verification, encoding, and checking of information provided in relation to the Program.
12. The Referrer agrees not to use CBC’s trademarks, service marks, logos, symbols, brand names, or any other proprietary materials in any form of advertising, promotional content,
or marketing communication when sharing their Referral Code, or when corresponding or communicating with potential Referrals. However, Referrers shall be permitted to mention the
name “Chinabank”, “CBC” or the official title of the Program when sharing their Referral Code.
13. The Referrer agrees and undertakes not to claim or imply, whether directly or indirectly, that they are acting on behalf of CBC when sharing their Referral Code. Any Referrer found to be
abusing or misusing the Program for false, fraudulent or otherwise illegal purposes, or otherwise engaging in false, misleading, or fraudulent activities through the Program or using the Program
and/or its associated marks, will be reported to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), without prejudice to any further legal action or remedy that CBC may pursue to defend and protect its rights
under the law.
14. The Referrer agrees and undertakes not to make any false, misleading, or unauthorized claims about CBC, its products, or the credit card application process when sharing their Referral Code.
Any such actions may lead to the Referrer's disqualification from the Program, without prejudice to the pursuit of any legal action or remedies by CBC.
15. Referrers are prohibited from using CBC’s name, logo, trademarks, or other brand assets in any unauthorized advertising, public posting, or promotional material, whether online or offline.
Any form of misleading, deceptive, or unethical promotion—including impersonation, false claims, or content that may damage the Bank’s reputation—shall be grounds for immediate disqualification
from the Program and forfeiture of rewards, without prejudice to the pursuit of any legal action or remedies by CBC.
16. The Referrer agrees and undertakes not to authorize or permit any third party to share or distribute his/her Referral Code on his/her behalf.
17. In the event that multiple Referrers nominate the same applicant, the Reward shall be granted to the Referrer who first submitted the application form with all required details and documentation.
If the earliest submission is found to be incomplete or does not meet the eligibility criteria, the reward shall instead be granted to the next Referrer whose submission is complete and compliant
with the eligibility criteria.
18. A Referral must apply for only one (1) credit card type. If the Referral gets approved for 2 or more card types, the Referrer shall only receive a Reward for the first approved card.
19. Rewards will be credited via cash credit on the 5th day of the month following the approval of the application. If it falls on a holiday, the Reward will be credited on the next banking day.
Rewards credited will appear on the Referrer’s statement of account.
20. Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be converted as points or to other forms of rewards and points redemption.
21. There is no limit to the number of referrals a Referrer can make and no cap on the total rewards that Referrers can earn.
22. CBC reserves the right to withhold or discontinue the granting of the Reward to a cardholder pursuant to any applicable law, regulation, or policy, or if the Referrer fails to comply with the Terms
and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of Chinabank Credit Cards or the governing rules on credit relationships.
23. In case of fraud, misrepresentation, or unauthorized action in relation to any credit card application, both the Referrer and the Referral shall be disqualified to participate in the
Member Get Member Program of CBC. Their credit cards and its privileges or any of their accounts with CBC may also be suspended or cancelled and Rewards granted, if any, will be forfeited.
24. If the Referral cancels their CBC Credit Card within one year following the crediting of the Reward, CBC reserves the right to revoke any Reward awarded to the Referrer.
25. If any act by the Referrer or the Referral in relation to this Program is proven to be fraudulent or illegal, both the Referrer and/or Referral will be blacklisted from any dealings with CBC,
without prejudice to further reporting to relevant Philippine government agencies.
26. By joining and participating in the Program, both the Eligible Cardholder/Referrer and Referral confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Program’s Terms and
Conditions, as well as CBC’s General Terms and Conditions and the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of CBC’s Credit Cards.
27. These Terms and Conditions of the CBC Credit Cards Member-Get-Member Program may, from time to time, be modified by the Bank, at its sole discretion, with notice to CBC credit cardholders.
28. CBC shall be entitled to engage a service provider/s to carry out on its behalf any or all of the services contemplated in these Terms and Conditions. The Eligible Cardholder/Referrer and Referral
each consent and hereby authorize CBC to supply any such service provider/s with such information as may be necessary or required for them to perform their duties.
29. The Eligible Cardholder/Referrer and Referral each agree to hold CBC and any of its officers, employees, and representatives free and harmless from any and all claims, liabilities and damages,
causes of action, losses, taxes, expenses, fees, penalties, including attorney’s fees and the like of whatever nature and kind which the Bank or any of its officers, employees, or representatives, may at any time, sustain or incur or be made liable arising from or in connection with the Program, including any claim, availment, processing, or redemption of any Reward by the Eligible Cardholder.
30. Referrers are ultimately responsible for the tax treatment/tax implication, if any, whether it be for a final tax or tax on income, of Rewards redeemed. CBC gives no warranty and accepts
no responsibility as to the ultimate tax treatment or any potential tax implication on redemption. In the event any Rewards redeemed should result to an income tax or other tax liability to the
Referrer, said income tax or other tax liability, if any, shall be shouldered by the Referrer.
31. In the event of any dispute regarding these Terms and Conditions (including, for the avoidance of doubt, disputes regarding a Referrer’s eligibility, Program period and coverage, Reward fulfillment,
or the validity of a Referral Code), said dispute shall resolved by CBC at its sole discretion. All questions or disputes related to the Program will be resolved by CBC with the concurrence of the
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
32. Chinabank may receive client inquiries or complaints via the following contact channels provided below. Upon receipt, Chinabank shall then conduct comprehensive investigation in accordance
with its established procedures and shall notify the Client/s of its findings.

*Cardholders in good credit standing refers to accounts that are active and current and not blocked, delinquent or past due, not under any collections repayment program or special installment, not under investigation due to suspected fraudulent activities, or those whose Credit Cards are not reported lost or stolen, and those who have not otherwise, violated any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of the CBC Credit Cards.
