Chinabank, the Philippines' fourth largest private universal bank, has completed its transition to Darwinbox, a leading AI-powered Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. This milestone marks the bank’s full shift to a digital-first HR ecosystem that will optimize HR operations and enhance the employee experience for over 11,000 Chinabankers nationwide.
Internally branded as SyncHROne (pronounced “Sinkron”), the bank’s new centralized HCM platform is built with a mobile-first design and open API architecture, enabling seamless integration with Chinabank’s existing systems and streamlined user experience, while offering world-class data security.

SyncHROne went live on June 10, 2025 after only five and a half months of development. For the first phase, employees can access core HR functions such as recruitment and onboarding, performance management, career progression, external training, contract management, internal transfers, case management, feedback, and issue resolution.

A key feature of SyncHROne is mobile accessibility. Previously fragmented and offline processes are now in a single platform with simplified and organized workflows, conveniently and securely accessible 24/7 on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops.
Set to launch in December, the second phase will further expand the system's features by introducing attendance tracking and filing, payroll and expense management, succession planning, talent management, learning management, merit planning, and compensation modeling.
