As part of its commitment to transparency and sustainability, Chinabank has appointed CSR Works International to provide external assurance for its 2025 Annual Financial and Sustainability Report.
The strategic collaboration with an independent third-party assurance provider reinforces the Bank’s dedication to rigorous international standards, strengthening stakeholder trust and ensuring the verifiability of its sustainability initiatives. With this engagement, Chinabank's sustainability report undergoes robust data verification process, aligning its sustainability management, performance, and reporting practices with AA1000 standards.
“With the increasing attention of our stakeholders on non-financial data disclosed in our reports, we want to assure them that the Bank has established a process that is credible, reliable, and accurate,” Chinabank President & CEO Romeo Uyan Jr. said.
CSR Works International will also conduct an independent gap analysis on the compliance of Chinabank’s sustainability report with the new sustainability- and climate-related financial disclosures developed by the International Sustainability Standards Board. These disclosures aim to establish a consistent, comparable baseline for how companies report sustainability- and climate-related financial information to help investors make more informed decisions.
"By engaging CSR Works International and tapping into their expertise, we are confident that our future sustainability reports will align with global standards and effectively communicate how we integrate sustainability into our business practices," Uyan added.
Singapore-based CSR Works International has a proven track record on advisory for over 20 years, helping its clients align with sustainability reporting standards, providing independent assurance on sustainability reports and GHG data, and conducting trainings approved by standards-setting organizations.
