Real-time remittance from the UAE to the Philippines through Al Fardan Exchange

Chinabank and long-time remittance tie-up, Al Fardan Exchange in UAE, have improved their system integration for a more secure and real-time servicing of remittances to the Philippines. 

Overseas Filipino customers can visit any of the 85 branches of Al Fardan Exchange across the Emirates or use its mobile application AlfaPay to send money to loved ones in the Philippines. Remittances sent for credit to Chinabank accounts, other Bank accounts* and Cash-Pick Up Anywhere will be received real time.

Al Fardan Exchange is one of the oldest and leading names in the UAE remittance market and a pioneer in the industry of UAE money exchange business. Chinabank’s remittance partnership with Al Fardan Exchange started in 2006.

Customers can either remit onsite or online.

Onsite:
a. Visit any of the 85 branches of Al Fardan Exchange.
b. Fill up the remittance transfer form. Depending on your preferred Chinabank remittance settlement method (e.g. Credit to Account, Cash Pickup), indicate the beneficiary details along with the remittance amount and currency. Existing customers sending to the same beneficiary simply need to present his/her Emirates ID to the teller.
c. Pay the transaction fee and get a copy of the transaction receipt.

Online:
a. Download the AlfaPay app and follow the on-screen prompts on how to register.
b. Use the app to remit. Simply follow the on-screen prompts, including providing the remittance details and selecting the Chinabank remittance settlement method.
c. Select payment options, review payment details and pay.
d. Transaction payment confirmation will be displayed on screen.

  • Credit to Other Philippine Bank account
  • Cash Pickup through any branch of Chinabank, M-Lhuillier, Palawan Pawnshop, LBC, Cebuana, and Amanah Bank

Reference number applies only for Cash Pickup transfers. Beneficiaries will use the reference number provided by Al Fardan Exchange to pick up the remittance amount from any branches of the bank or agent locations of the bank using the 13-digit reference number provided by Al Fardan Exchange. This reference number will be mentioned in the receipt provided to the remitter after completing the transaction.

Yes! The beneficiary will receive an SMS notification once the remittance has already been credited to your Chinabank account or when it is available for cash pick-up.

Remittance status can be checked through the Chinabank website Remittance Status Inquiry (chinabank.ph) or mobile app.

Remittance sent through Al Fardan Exchange can be received by your beneficiary in real-time. However, *credit to bank account transactions in excess of Php50,000 will be credited on the next banking day.
