Manual on Corporate Governance

Good corporate governance is a cornerstone of China Bank’s success and sustainability. Led by a Board fully committed to adopting corporate governance best practices and complying with regulatory requirements, we conduct our business ethically, responsibly, and in accordance with applicable laws to create long-term shareholder value and grow the Bank in a meaningful, sustainable way.

Our corporate governance structure, principles, and policies, and the specific and general duties and responsibilities of the Board and of the individual directors are contained in our latest Manual on Corporate Governance

The Manual is kept updated and aligned with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB), the Revised Disclosure and Listing Rules of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), and the Securities and Exchange Commission Memorandum Circulars. The Manual is also updated to reflect changes in local governance rules and regulations and the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard.
