- Who are eligible to get the Velvet Eight Cash Back?
- The Velvet Eight Cash Back is open to all Chinabank Velvet Visa Signature Principal Cardholders in good credit standing. Good Credit Standing refers to accounts that are active, not over limit, not delinquent/past due or under investigation due to fraudulent activities, not reported lost or stolen and have not violated any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of Chinabank Credit Cards.
- How much cash rebate can I get?
- Principal Cardholders are entitled to a Php800 cash rebate upon meeting the minimum spend requirement of Php8,000, either single-receipt or accumulated, every 8th of the month.
- The cap shall include the rebates earned by the Principal Cardholder and his/her Supplementary Cardholder(s), if any.
- When will I get the cash rebate?
- The cash back shall automatically be credited to the Principal Cardholder’s account in the next statement cycle immediately after the statement cycle where the qualified transaction/s was/were posted.
- Are there restrictions on the cash rebate?
Transactions should NOT be under the following merchant categories:
- Gas stations and gas service stations (with or without ancillary services);
- Wholesale clubs/warehouse merchants;
- Payment for insurance sales, underwriting, and premiums;
- Installment Programs: Balance transfer, transaction conversion, balance conversion, and cash installment, including pre-terminated installments;
- Auto-debit arrangements (ADAs) and auto-charged bills payments;
- Cash Advances;
- Refunded or disputed transactions;
- Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions;
- Quasi-cash transactions; and
- Annual membership fees, and all other fees and charges.
- Can I transfer my cash rebate to another Chinabank credit card product?
- No. Cash rebates are not transferrable to another Chinabank credit card product.
