PROMO MECHANICS
1. The Promo is open to all qualified Chinabank Credit Cardholders ("Cardholders") whose accounts are active, current and in good credit standing*
2. CBC Cash Rewards Mastercard, CBC Velvet Visa Signature, and CBC @home Visa Platinum are excluded from this promo.
3. Qualified cardholders will receive an EDM/SMS/Viber of the promo.
4. Promo period is from March 10 to April 9, 2026. Qualified cardholder must use their Chinabank Credit Card and must have the following to get P1.5K worth of SM e-GC:
• Accumulated spend of P40K for retail transactions
• Single-receipt installment transaction of at least P40K
5. Promo is only valid for online, international, local retail point-of-sale terminal (POS) transactions and are valid both for straight and installment purchases.
6. Transactions in the following are excluded from the promo:
• Recurring Payments
• Gaming Transactions
• Utilities
• Cash Advance
• Cash-In Transactions
• Cash Installment, Balance Transfer, and Balance Conversion Transactions
• Redemption of Rewards as Credits
• Refund Transactions
• Wholesale/Distribution
7. The e-GC earned by the qualified cardholders will be sent to the Cardholder’s mobile number on record in the form of e-codes.
• The e-Codes must be redeemed and exchanged for a e-GC equivalent to the shopping treats earned by the qualified cardholders (once and in full amount) at the Customer Service Counters or Bills counter section of SM Store.
• The SM e-GC can be used at the SM Store and Other Participating Merchants (please see https://smstore.com/gifts/gift-cards/where-to-use/ )
8. The e-codes will be sent within fifteen (15) banking days from end of promo period and will be valid for redemption 60 days from date of sending. The e-Codes will NOT be sent to Cardholders with past due accounts including, but not limited to, those with late payment occurrence or no payment on due date.
9. Cardholders can avail up to P3K worth of e-GC.
10. Chinabank reserves the right to charge the cost of the free item claimed to the Cardholder’s account in the following cases:
• Multiple, invalid, or fraudulent redemptions
• Qualified transaction/s used to redeem were subsequently filed under dispute by the Cardholder or were reversed
• Cardholder is subsequently proven to have violated any of the Promo terms and conditions
11. Chinabank’s Merchant Installment Terms and Conditions shall apply. For details, visit the Chinabank website and go to the Installment Programs page.
12. In case of disputes related to the promo, the decision of Chinabank with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.
13. In the purchase of goods and services which are on promotional discount, the PWD/Senior Citizen can avail of either the promotional discount or the discount provided under the PWD Act/Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010, whichever is higher.
14. By joining this promo, the Cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agrees to be bound by the mechanics of the promo.

*Cardholders in good credit standing refers to accounts that are active and current and not blocked, delinquent or past due, not under any collections repayment program or special installment, not under investigation due to suspected fraudulent activities, or those whose Credit Cards are not reported lost or stolen, and those who have not otherwise, violated any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of the China Bank Credit Cards.
