PROMO MECHANICS
DESTINATIONS TRAVEL SALE PROMO MECHANICS
1. Eligibility
i. The Destinations Travel Sale Promo ( “Promo”) is open to all Chinabank Credit and Debit Cardholders (“Cardholders”) with accounts that are active, current, and in good credit standing*.
2. How to Avail
i. Cardholders are entitled to avail of exclusive travel offers for bookings made onsite at the Podium during the Destinations Travel Sale event (the “Event”).
ii. The Promo is valid only for bookings made within the Promo period of March 27 to 29, 2026.
3. Zero (0)% Installment
i. Cardholders who use their Chinabank Credit or Debit Card to pay, in a single receipt transaction, the full amount of bookings made with participating merchant/booking areas, may avail of the 0% Installment Offer via Point-of-Sale (POS) or via Transaction Conversion during the Event.
ii. Only the following transactions are qualified for the 0% Installment Offer:
• Airline installment transactions on 3 and 6 months’ term via POS, with minimum spend of ₱20,000 and ₱100,000, respectively.
• Airline transactions converted to 3, 6, 9, or 12 months installment via Transaction Conversion. Minimum spend of ₱20,000 is required.
• Non-airline transactions (Klook) converted to 3 months installment via Transaction Conversion. Minimum spend of ₱10,000 is required.
iii. Applications for Transaction Conversion are subject to Chinabank’s evaluation and approval processes.
iv. Qualified transactions converted via Transaction Conversion will not earn rewards points across all Chinabank card types.
4. Klook Voucher
i. Cardholders can enjoy a ₱1,000 Klook voucher during the Event through a unique code provided at Klook’s kiosk. Minimum spend of ₱10,000 with Klook is required. Activities listed in Klook’s Non-Applicable Activity List** are excluded from this promo. Only one (1) Klook voucher will be given to a Cardholder per day.
ii. The ₱1,000 Klook voucher shall be valid for one-time use per user per day.
iii. Only 100 Klook vouchers are available for redemption during the Event, on a first-come, first-served basis.
5. STARR Insurance
i. Cardholders may avail of 25% discount in STARR Insurance’s TraveLead Peso Plans and 10% discount in Assist Card Dollar Plans during the Event.
ii. This offer is valid for the following STARR Insurance products and traveler age ranges: 

iii. A Cardholder can book several STARR Insurance policies during the Event.
iv. The travel insurance coverage provided by STARR Insurance shall be valid during the travel period indicated during purchase.
To purchase travel insurance from STARR Insurance, Cardholders are required to submit a valid government ID (for domestic trips) or Passport copy (for international trips).
v. Not strictly necessary to indicate as this refers to travel insurance policy matters (and no longer touches on the promo mechanics) but we can leave this be if commercially desirable.
6. Promo Conditions
i. The Promo cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing promotions and discounts of Participating Partners.
ii. Participating merchants/booking areas reserve the right to impose an early cut-off during the Event prior to mall closing hours if queues can no longer be accommodated.
iii. The Promo is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, travel vouchers, or other items.
iv. In the purchase of goods and services under this Promo, Senior Citizens and PWDs may avail of the discount under the Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010 or the Magna Carta for Persons with Disability, whichever is higher.
7. Disputes and Violations
i. Any dispute or concern regarding the performance, delivery, or quality of the services received shall be settled directly between the Cardholder and the Participating Partner.
ii. Chinabank reserves the right to charge the cost of the Promo to the Cardholder’s account, if a Cardholder is found to have violated any Promo mechanics, Chinabank’s General Terms and Conditions, or Chinabank’s Terms and Conditions governing the use of Credit Cards and/or Debit Cards terms before, during, or after availing of the Promo.
iii. In case of disputes related to this Promo, the decision of Chinabank, with the concurrence of the DTI, shall be final and non‑negotiable.
8. Other Provisions
i. Chinabank’s General Terms and Conditions and the Terms and Conditions governing Chinabank Credit and Debit Cards are incorporated herein by reference.
ii. By joining the Promo, the Cardholder confirms having read and understood, and agrees to be bound by, these mechanics.

* Cardholders in good credit standing are those whose accounts are active and current and not blocked, delinquent or past due, not under any collections repayment program or special installment, not under investigation due to suspected fraudulent activities, or those whose Credit or Debit Cards are not reported lost or stolen, and those who have not otherwise violated any of the Chinabank’s General Terms and Conditions, or other applicable Chinabank Terms and Conditions governing the use of Credit Cards and/or Debit Cards.
