PROMO MECHANICS
1. The 0% Transaction Conversion Promo (“Promo”) is exclusive to select China Bank Credit Cardholders (“Cardholders”) in good credit standing*.
2. The 0% Transaction Conversion Promo will run from January 7 to February 28, 2026 (the “Promo Period”).
3. The 0% Transaction Conversion Promo allows selected credit cardholders in good credit standing, both principal and supplementary, to convert their qualified straight transactions to 0% installment for 3 months term with no processing fees.
4. To avail of this promo, only the principal cardholder must request for conversion of qualified straight transactions for both principal and supplementary cards by calling the China Bank Customer Service 24/7 Hotline at +632 888-55-888 or Domestic Toll Free 1800-1888-5888 (PLDT).
5. A minimum transaction conversion amount of Php30,000.00 is required for this promo. Selected cardholders may combine transactions to reach the required minimum amount.
6. Qualified transactions must all be straight retail and online transactions within the cardholder’s statement or cut-off date and should cover the entire transaction amount. Transactions that have formed part of the cardholder’s revolving balance are no longer eligible for conversion.
7. The following transactions are excluded from the program:
a. Quasi-cash transactions
b. Installment Transactions (Merchant Installment, Balance Transfer, Convert-to-Cash, Balance Conversion, and Transaction Conversion)
c. ATM Transactions (Cash Advance, Payments, etc)
d. Fees and Charges and Pre-terminated installment transactions.
e. Casino transactions
8. The China Bank credit card used should be activated, current, not past due or delinquent. All China Bank cards over limit, past due, and accounts with collection issues are not eligible for this promo. Selected qualified Cardholders may receive a call or other notice from China Bank offering the 0% Transaction Conversion Promo.
9. Selected qualified Cardholders may avail of this promo several times within the Promo Period, provided that transactions are within the credit limit and cardholder is in good credit standing.
10. Foreign currency transactions will be converted into PHP using the credit card rate of the day when the 0% Transaction Conversion Promo application was processed.
11. Approved 0% Transaction Conversion Promo applications shall not earn Rewards Points.
12. The 0% Transaction Conversion Promo application shall be subject to appropriate evaluation by China Bank. China Bank shall have the absolute and exclusive right to approve or reject the 0% Transaction Conversion Promo request. China Bank reserves the right to deny the processing of the 0% Transaction Conversion Promo for whatever valid reason and China Bank has no obligation to disclose the reason to the cardholder.
13. The 0% Transaction Conversion Promo request shall be processed by China Bank within five (5) to seven (7) business days before the statement date.
14. The 0% Transaction Conversion Promo’s first monthly amortization will be immediately posted to the cardholder’s Statement of Account (SOA) upon approval of request.
15. The approved 0% Transaction Conversion Promo amount shall be posted in three (3) equal and successive monthly installments and shall commence on the cardholder’s next billing date until the 0% Transaction Conversion Promo balance is paid in full.
16. In case of pre-termination or cancellation of the 0% Transaction Conversion Promo before the end of the 3-month tenor, the Bank shall impose a five percent (5%) handling fee based on the remaining unpaid installment balance or Php500, whichever is higher. The unpaid remaining Total Principal Amount plus applicable fees shall be posted back as a regular straight transaction.
17. The cardholder acknowledges his liability to China Bank for every approved 0% Transaction Conversion Promo application and shall form part of the cardholder’s obligations to China Bank.
18. Officers of China Banking Corporation are not qualified to avail of the 0% Transaction Conversion Promo.
19. In case of any dispute related to the promo, China Bank's decision, with concurrence of the DTI, will be deemed final and non-negotiable.

21. Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of China Bank Credit Cards are incorporated herein by reference and made integral hereof.
*Cardholders in good credit standing are those whose accounts are active and current and not blocked, delinquent or past due, not under any collections repayment promo or special installment, non-investigation due to suspected fraudulent activities, or those whose Credit Cards are not reported lost or stolen, and those who have not otherwise, violated any of the Terms and Conditions governing China Bank Credit Cards.
