5% Fuel Rebate at any Local Gas Station
Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility
a. Starting April 15, 2023, all Chinabank Platinum, World and Wealth Mastercard Cardholders in good credit standing* at the time of rebate crediting are entitled to a 5% fuel rebate when the Cardholder gas up at any local gas station.
b. The fuel rebate may be availed by the Cardholder, including his/her Supplementary Cardholder/s, if any, who use his/her Chinabank Platinum, World or Wealth Mastercard to purchase fuel for private use only. Any fuel transaction exceeding Php20,000 (in a single receipt) will not earn fuel rebates. Fuel transactions for commercial use will also not earn fuel rebates. Chinabank reserves the right to exclude any single or multiple transaction(s) from the computation of fuel rebate/s if the transaction(s) was/were in violation of this provision.
c. Chinabank has the right to disqualify a Cardholder from earning fuel rebates if it deems that a Cardholder had violated any of the Terms and Conditions herein and/or the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of Chinabank Credit Cards. Disqualification automatically results in the forfeiture of all fuel rebates earned.
2. Earning and Redemption of Fuel Rebates
a. The fuel rebate will be computed on a per eligible transaction basis, rounded down to the nearest peso. Each Chinabank Platinum, World and Wealth Mastercard Cardholder will have a cap on fuel rebates amounting to Php250.00 per transaction or Php500.00 per cycle month. The cap shall include the rebates earned by the Principal Cardholder and his/her Supplementary Cardholder/s, if any.
b. The fuel rebate shall automatically be credited to the Principal Cardholder’s account in the next statement cycle immediately after the statement cycle where the fuel transaction/s was/were posted. If the Cardholder does not dispute the fuel rebate amount reflected on his/her statement of account (SOA) within thirty (30) days from the Cardholder’s receipt of the relevant monthly SOA, the fuel rebate earned as reflected on the SOA shall be deemed correct and final.
3. Forfeiture of Fuel Rebates
a. If the Principal Cardholder’s Account is not in good credit standing at the time of rebate crediting, fuel rebates will not be credited and will be forfeited.
b. If a Cardholder cancels his/her Card or converts his/her Card to a card other than Chinabank Platinum, World and Wealth Mastercard, whether voluntary or involuntary, Cardholder will no longer enjoy any fuel rebate upon such cancellation or conversion.
c. Fraud and abuse relating to the earning of fuel rebates, as reasonably determined by the Bank, may result in forfeiture of earned fuel rebates.
d. If the Cardholder violates any of the Terms and Conditions herein and/or the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of Chinabank Credit Cards after a fuel rebate had already been credited to the account, the Bank has the right to reverse all relevant fuel rebates without prior notice to the Cardholder.
4. Transaction Disputes and Concerns
a. The Cardholder may refer his/her dispute, complaint or inquiry via Chinabank Customer Service Hotline at +632 888-55-888 or Domestic Toll-Free Number 1-800-1888-5888 or email at creditcards@chinabank.ph. Upon receipt, Chinabank shall then conduct a comprehensive investigation in accordance with its established procedures and shall notify the Cardholder of its findings.
b. The Bank will credit the corresponding fuel rebate if the dispute or complaint is resolved in favor of the Cardholder. Otherwise the Bank will reverse fuel rebates related to disputed transactions in the next statement cycle immediately after the statement cycle containing the disputed transaction.
c. Subject to governing laws, all questions or disputes regarding a Cardholder’s eligibility for the fuel rebates will be resolved by the Bank at its sole discretion.
5. Miscellaneous Provisions
a. The Terms and Conditions herein may be modified by the Bank at its sole discretion from time to time.

6. Agreement to the Terms and Conditions
a. The Cardholder acknowledges that he/she has read, understood and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein and the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of Chinabank Credit Cards.
*Good Credit Standing refers to accounts that are active, not over limit, not delinquent/past due or under investigation due to fraudulent activities, not reported lost or stolen and have not violated any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of Chinabank Credit Cards.
