PROMO MECHANICS

 

Eligibility​

​The 0% Balance Transfer Promo (“promo”) is open to select existing Chinabank Principal Cardholders (“cardholder”) in good credit standing who received a promotional SMS and EDM (“eligible cardholders”).​

Promo Period​

October 16 to December 15, 2026​

​Offer​

​The promo allows eligible cardholders to transfer the outstanding balances of their non-Chinabank credit card to their Chinabank credit card for a minimum required amount at zero % add-on rate for up to 6 months.​

How to avail​

   • Eligible cardholders will receive communications via SMS/Viber and Email to avail of the promo.​

   • To avail, cardholder must call the Telesales hotline at (02) 5322 9175 from 8am to 5pm daily.​

   • No processing fee shall be charged to the cardholder at the time of transaction for every approved 0% Balance Transfer promo application.​

Other Terms & Conditions​

   • The approved Balance Transfer amount must be within the Cardholder’s available credit limit at the time of application. ​

   • Approved 0% Balance Transfer applications shall not earn rewards points or cashbacks.​

   • The Balance Transfer application is subject to verification and approval of Chinabank. Chinabank reserves the right to approve or decline any 0% Balance Transfer application. Chinabank may approve the full amount applied for or a lesser amount, at its sole discretion, without prior notice to the cardholder.​

   • Payment will be made to the non-Chinabank Credit Card company within ten (10) business days from the date of approval of the 0% Balance Transfer application.​

   • The approved 0% Balance Transfer amount shall be posted in equal and successive monthly installments and shall commence on the cardholder’s next billing date until the Balance Transfer amount is paid in full.​

   • Approved 0% Balance Transfer applications can no longer be reversed or cancelled.​

   • In the event of pre-termination or cancellation of the 0% Balance Transfer prior to the completion of the payment term, a pre-termination fee equivalent to 5% of the remaining unpaid installment balance or ₱500, whichever is higher, shall be charged to the cardholder. The outstanding unbilled portion of the principal amount plus the applicable pre-termination fee shall be billed as a regular straight transaction and posted in the next billing statement.

   • The cardholder can avail of multiple 0% Balance Transfers provided that the total amount is within the cardholder’s available credit limit at the time of application.​

   • The Chinabank credit card must be activated, current, not past due or delinquent. Overlimit, past due, and accounts with collection issues are not eligible for the 0% Balance Transfer promo.​

   • The use of the Chinabank credit card in connection with the 0% Balance Transfer Promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Chinabank credit cards.​

   • By availing of the 0% Balance Transfer Promo, the cardholder confirms having read, understood, and agreed to the promo’s terms and conditions.​
