Billing statements from Meralco, PLDT, Manila Water and Cignal TV can be paid via DDA. For an updated list, please contact China Bank at +632 888-55-888. 

Subscribers of Meralco, Manila Water and Cignal TV can avail of DDA. 

Payers will receive an email notifying them of their successful enrollment in DDA. 

Yes. Payers will receive monthly notifications on billing (details of billing statement) and payment (successful debiting of account for payment). 

Insufficient funds will cause DDA transactions to become unsuccessful. Payers must pay directly to the respective utility company of the billing statement.

No. There are no penalties for cases of insufficient funds. Payers enrolled in Meralco DDA; however, will be removed from the service after three consecutive delinquent payments. Payers may re-enroll to Meralco DDA upon settlement of their billing statements with Meralco. 

Official receipts can be claimed directly from the utility companies that we paid via DDA. 

Yes. China Bank will generate BIR 2307 tax form. A soft copy will be emailed to the payer and to the utility company. 

ACA transactions may be scheduled for immediate or post-dated payment processing. Immediate transactions are processed on the same within cut-off times while post-dated transactions are future-dated payments. 

Payers may upload and approve their transactions 24/7; however, crediting will be processed from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. 

Yes. Transactions will be processed on holidays and weekends. 

No. ACA can only credit to China Bank accounts. 

China Bank Peso Checking Accounts, Peso Savings accounts and US Dollar Savings Accounts can be enrolled in ACA. 

Yes. Transaction can be approved; however, the transaction will be unsuccessful and will not credit any amount to the payee. 

Yes. Payers must enroll their beneficiaries’ account in order for their beneficiaries to receive notifications on credits to their China Bank account. 

Yes. Payers can remit payments to un-enrolled China Bank accounts provided that they have the beneficiaries’ details, such as name, account number, email address and other reference details. 

No. Check Write Plus Software can only print China Bank Checks. 

Check Write Plus Software have reports on approved checks, cancelled checks and check status. 

Yes. The Check Write Plus Software can print the BIR 2307 tax form. 

Yes. The Check Write Plus Software can print checks with digitized signatures. 

The Check Write Plus Software can be installed in several computers; however one license will be required per computer it will be installed in. 

Yes. Printing checks with digitized signatures is optional and must be indicated in the upload file.

Signatures that will appear on the checks are based on their respective signatory depending on the amount of the check or the approver/s of the transaction. Signatories and approvers must be indicated in the Signature Template Certification Form. 

Yes. Different signatories may be assigned for the check and the CWT. Respective signatories must be indicated in the Signature Template Certification Form. 

Yes. The option to issue crossed checks is available to make checks payable to the payee’s account only. A “Payee’s Account Only” text will be printed on applicable checks. Availability of this option must be indicated in the Signature Template Certification Form. 

Both current-dated and post-dated checks can be printed with the Check Write Plus Self-Service. 

Yes. The option to send email notifications on check availability to payees is available. Details on this should be indicated in the upload file. 

Yes. An MS Excel converter can be provided to convert check details from your accounting software, to a .txt file. 

Yes. The company can make their own .txt file; however, the .txt file must follow the layout acceptable to China Bank. 

None. The converter is only available for Microsoft Office Excel. 

Yes. The system can maintain GL or accounting codes in the system through the Chart of Account Maintenance Menu. This can also be printed in the check vouchers. 

No. An uploaded file can no longer be changed or edited. A new file must be uploaded to make necessary corrections. 

Upload files with incorrect transaction details must be rejected by the verifier/ authorizer/ releaser. If the transaction has been approved, it needs to be tagged as cancelled in the Check Maintenance Menu. 

Yes. The same check number/ series can be used as long as the same check number/ series has not yet been printed. 

Yes. Approvers can approve pending transactions, if they are enrolled in the China Bank Mobile OTP. 

Yes. Transactions previously created can be viewed again through the Check Inquiry Menu. Previous transactions are stored up to three months. 

Yes. Checks can be cancelled by tagging them as such in the Check Maintenance Menu. 

Yes. The system automatically updates the status of released checks. 

Laser and inkjet printers can be used to print checks with vouchers. 

Only checks with vouchers can be printed. Check Write Software checks with vouchers can also be used. 

Yes. Reprinting of checks can be done through the Reprint Menu. 

Users with access to the Check Printing and Reprint Menu can print checks. Users must be indicated in the Enrollment Form. 

Yes. An option for auto-compute is available for manual or data-entry transactions only. CWT computation is not available for uploaded transactions. 

The following reports can be generated in PDF, XLS or CSV from the Reports menu: Cancelled report, Released report, Delivered report, Negotiated report, On Hold report, Spoiled report, Stale report, Total Report Sorted by Account, Total Report Sorted by Payee, Tally Report, Returned Report. 

Corporate Checks and China Bank Manager’s Checks can be printed through Check Write Plus Outsourcing. 

Printed checks can be delivered to the company’s office or directly released to payees through China Bank’s Releasing Hubs. 

Yes. The Check Write Plus Outsourcing can print corporate checks with digitized signatures. 

Check Write Plus Outsourcing provides access to several reports such as, Cancelled Report, Released Report, Negotiated Report, On Hold Report, Stale Report, Total Report Sorted by Account, Total Report Sorted by Payee, Tally Report and Returned Report. 

Yes. Check Write Plus Outsourcing Transactions can be approved through China Bank Online Corporate or through the China Bank Corp Mobile App. 

Several checking accounts can be enrolled to the Check Write Plus Outsourcing. 

Debiting of the funding account will depend on the check used for Check Write Plus Outsourcing. If China Bank Manager’s Checks are used, the funding account will be debited upon approval of the transaction, while if Corporate Checks are used, the funding account will be debited upon check negotiation. 

Payroll Crediting transactions may be scheduled for immediate or post-dated employee crediting. Immediate transactions are processed on the same within cut-off times while post-dated transactions are future-dated crediting. 

Employers may upload and approve their transactions 24/7; however, crediting to employee accounts will be processed from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. 

No. Payroll Crediting can only credit salaries to employees’ China Bank accounts. 

Yes. Transaction can be approved; however, the transaction will be unsuccessful and will not credit salaries to any employee. 

Yes. China Pay generates government mandated reports such as, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and BIR Alpha List 

Aside from monthly pay slips and government mandated reports, China Pay also generates other reports such as, payroll register; Basic Attendance, Absences, Late and Under-Time, Overtime and Holiday, Leaves, Loan Payments, Other Deductible Items and Earnings, Journal Entries and Employee Certification. 

Employers must submit their payroll data at least three banking days from the scheduled payroll date. 

Yes. Employers will be given access to view and print reports. 

Employers may choose to have employee pay slips printed and sent to their company or directly emailed to their employee’s company email address.
