Get Your Company Accredited Now!

  • Must be an existing China Bank corporate client coursing its payroll through China Bank
  • With minimum of 50 regular employees
  • Operating for at least 5 years
  • Profitable for at least 3 years
  • SEC registered

Post Company Accreditation Requirements

  • Memorandum of Agreement
  • Secretary Certificate or Board Resolution nominating the Authorized Signatories of the Company

Minimum Loanable Amount: PHP 15,000
Maximum Loanable Amount: PHP 1 Million
Payment Terms: Up to 36 Months
Approval Time: 2-3 Banking Days
Loan Terms: 6, 12, 18, 24 and 36 months

Employee-Borrower Eligibility Requirements

  • Regular employee
  • Must be 21 to 65 years old
  • Gross monthly salary of PHP 15,000
  • Minimum work tenure of 2 years
  • No pending case or is not subject to any internal investigation or complaint
  • No negative credit findings

FAQs

How will I get my loan proceeds?

Loan proceeds will be credited to your China Bank payroll account within 2-3 banking days upon receipt of duly signed Promissory Note and Disclosure Statement.

What is the interest rate?

What are the applicable fees?

  • Processing Fee: Please contact Multi-Purpose Loans Division for the updated fee.
  • Documentary Stamp Taxes: Php1.50 for every Php200 or a fraction thereof of loan proceeds for loans above PHP250,000 or loan purpose is for business use
  • Late Penalty Fee: 36% per annum on all overdue amortizations. This is subject to change with prior notice.
     

What are my payment options?

Salary loan payment will be through salary deduction in a fixed amortization.

How much will be my monthly repayment?

Your monthly repayment will be dependent on the approved amount and tenor of your loan. Interest shall be computed based on the outstanding balance of the loan at the beginning of an interest period. An amortization schedule and disclosure statement will be provided upon loan approval. To have an estimate of possible monthly amortization, you may refer to the sample loan amortization table available thru your HR or your Relationship Officer.

How soon can I apply for a reloan?

You may choose to re-avail the loan anytime via a.) New Loan or b.) Loan Top-up, subject to your company’s endorsement and bank’s final approval. For Top-up, the loan balance of the existing loan will be consolidated with the new loan application.

How can I apply for a reloan or top-up?

Contact your Relationship Officer for consultation. After, you may proceed with the reloan or top up by submitting the requirements together with your application form through your HR.
Reloan is subject to the bank's credit review and approval.

Can I pre-pay/pre-terminate my loan anytime?

You may choose to pre-pay or pre-terminate your loan anytime, without any charges or fees. If  you choose to pre-terminate the loan, the interest that will be collected will be up until the day  you fully paid the loan. Please reach us thru salarypluscare@chinabank.ph or your   Relationship Officer for the pay-off computation.

What will happen to my loan if I resign from the company?

In accordance with the Debit Authority, you signed, your last pay will be remitted to China   Bank to effect partial or full payment of the loan. If insufficient, your account may be   converted to a regular personal loan and the interest rate will be adjusted to the prevailing   commercial interest rate subject to the bank’s review and approval.

What are your payment channels in case of separation from the company?

If your loan has been converted to a regular personal loan due to resignation and insufficient  last pay, you may pay via over-the-counter at any nearest China Bank Branch or via online  bank transfer. Please contact your Relationship Officer for the details.
