Promo Mechanics:

  1. Promo Period. The Kickstart Your Holiday Shopping with China Bank Credit Cards and SM Supermalls Promo (“Promo”) will run from November 15 to December 31, 2021.
  2. The Promo is open to all China Bank Credit Card Principal and Supplementary Cardholders (“Cardholders”) whose accounts are active, current, and in good credit standing*.
  3. Base Promo Offer. For a minimum single-receipt shopping or dining spend of PHP2,500 at the following SM Supermalls, Cardholder is entitled to an SM Gift Pass worth PHP100.

    • SM Mall of Asia
    • SM Megamall
    • SM Southmall
  4. Bonus Promo Offer. Cardholder is entitled to a bonus SM Gift Pass worth PHP100 if the minimum single-receipt shopping spend of PHP2,500 is at the following SM Affiliate stores.

    • Forever 21
    • Bata Shoes
    • Crocs
    • Ecco
    • Baby Company
    • The Body Shop

  5. Splitting of transactions is prohibited and shall not be allowed for redemption. Splitting is defined as an intentional act of dividing a retail or merchant transaction into multiple charge slips to redeem more than one promo treat. Only one (1) qualified transaction at the same merchant on the same day will be eligible for the Promo offers.
  6. A maximum of five (5) redemptions can be made per Cardholder within the Promo period. Redemption/s must be on the same day of the transaction.
  7. To redeem the SM Gift Pass, cardholder must present the following for validation at the Customer Service Counter of The SM Store located inside the SM Supermalls where the transaction was made:
    • Original Transaction Receipt
    • Original Charge Slip (Customer Copy)
    • China Bank Credit Card Used
    • Valid Identification Card

    The original transaction receipt shall be stamped as “Claimed” and the original charge slip shall not be returned to the Cardholder upon release of the SM Gift Pass.
  8. The Base and Bonus Promo Offers are non-convertible to cash.
  9. The SM Store and China Bank will not replace lost or damaged SM Gift Pass/es if caused by the Cardholder.
  10. China Bank reserves the right to charge the cost of the redeemed SM Gift Pass/es to the Cardholder’s account in the following cases:
    • Multiple, invalid, or fraudulent redemptions
    • Qualified transaction/s used to redeem were subsequently filed under dispute by the Cardholder or were reversed
    • Cardholder is subsequently proven to have violated any of the Promo terms and conditions
  11. In case of dispute related to the Promo, China Bank's decision, in concurrence with the DTI, will be deemed final and non-negotiable.
  12. The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of China Bank Credit Cards are incorporated herein by reference and made integral hereof.
  13. The Cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood, and agrees to be bound by the mechanics of the Promo.

*"Good Credit Standing" refers to accounts that are active and current and not blocked, delinquent or past due, not under any collections repayment program or special installment, not under investigation due to suspected fraudulent activities, or those whose Credit Cards are not reported lost or stolen, and those who have not otherwise, violated any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of the China Bank Credit Cards.
