China Bank, the country’s first privately-owned commercial bank, opens two more branches today, October 24 – Intramuros and Solano branches, bringing China Bank’s branch count to 208. These new branch openings are part of the branch expansion plan for 2008. A total of 28 new branches were already opened since January, with seven more scheduled to be opened before the end of the year.

Intramuros branch, headed by Michael Faustino, is located at no. 409 A. Soriano Avenue, Intramuros, Manila. It is China Bank’s 22nd branch in the country’s capital city. On the other hand, China Bank is also strengthening its presence in the Northern province, with the opening of its first branch in Nueva Vizcaya – Solano Branch, along the National Highway in Brgy. The new branches are open Mondays to Fridays, from 9 am to 4 pm, offering a wide array of savings, investment, and lending services. Both branches have ample parking space and are equipped with an ATM and a night depository unit to provide 24-hour convenient access.
